Sol Cresta uses the same docking and formation techniques as Terra Cresta’s classic shooting game Moon Cresta. It also includes the brand new “free-form docking method”. Based on the triangulation of three ships, the main ship Yamato (Amaterasu as well as Tsukuyomi) is able to use a variety of methods of attack. The key to defeating Mandler’s invading armies is docking the ships, separating them and reforming them.
